THE HUNT FOR THE GREAT PUMPKIN

As you all know by now, Fall is my favorite time of year. And our outings, are always fun.
But none more anticipated than our trip to the pumpkin patch. When the search for the BEST pumpkin is ON!! However, it is bitter sweet as it always starts out fun but after about the seventh, "No mom this is the one" it gets a little tiring. My husband would say, tiring for who?
I guess it is true, he does all the heavy lifting. But the picture taker's important too right??

Especially when you get cool shot's like this.

CLOWNS!! Like father, like son.

All these cool orange pumpkins, and all she cared about was the dirt. I wish that was all it took to make me this exited.

Two cuties, as always!!

Aww... all you needed was a little red wagon! When the kids were all little we grew a 70 lb pumpkin in our backyard! I S. California there were no roadside farms to go find the perfect pumpkin in. We loaded that huge pumpkin up in our little red wagon after we had carved it into a Jack o' Lantern of course and took it across the street to the kids' school. They won first prize in the pumpkin contest! What a memory!
