You would think that by my fourth child, the first steps would'nt be that exiting. But let me tell you, they are just as sweet as the first child's. She's just so little, that it looks so funny to see her walking it still scares me when she comes around the corner because I'm not used to it yet. And now, she has less of a need for me. This makes me happy and sad, all at the same time. When she is walking around now and I reach for her she just turns in a different direction as to say, " No mama, I'm ok". It's the first part of letting go a little. So I just smile, and encourage her, be her cheerleader and wait until she falls and wants me. I will always be there then. Now, and Lord willing, many years from now. P.S. Yes I know she's all dirty, but man she enjoyed those spagettios!!!
